orcase 0 Posted September 29, 2010 Never had this before. I have mounted a couple of PTZ domes (CCTV600) out in the sticks, and they get noticable camera reflection of the Cam body/mechanism in the dome cover. Tried a silver effect and clear, silvered was very bad. Anyone got any tips how to combat this ?

Maybe, distance from lens to dome surface is bigger? Just add a "tube" on lens.
orcase 0 Posted September 29, 2010 Sorry, they are new units/new install. Its placement is pretty open, so it does get bright, but it still shows reflection when overcast too. I wondered if anyone could recommend some anti-glare coating as no darker shade of dome is available. Good idea about the tube though, might work, will look into it, thanks.
