Remote viewing GE Symdec 16 plus 4

Hi,

 

we have problem with viewing the CCTV from remote, the DVR occasionally need to be reset to enable the viewing.we have a typical site installation of 16 analog camera terminate on GE Symdec-16 and a total of 8 remote sites over different geographic. The upload speed is 512Kbps to the Control center thru IPVPN networks. Any advice on possible cause of problem & how to overcome the problem.

Are you using GE Nav v3 remote client software or earlier version? If so, please upgrade to the latest remote client version software... Also, are you using GE Nav v3 or a IE to connect to Symdec? Also, are you running the latest version firmware on Symdec? I will strongly recommend to use GE NAV v3 instead of IE...
