What I mean is the following, suppose that the bandwidth in the IP-camera network decreases, the viewing software package detects this and requests the IP-camera(s) to lower the frame rate or resolution so that no video information is lost. D.V.S. 0 Posted September 30, 2010 My March Networks Megapx2m camera does this, though only in 640 x 480 resolution. It has an adaptive bit rate regulation setting that evaluates the available bandwidth and scales the video quality accordingly. Never used it though.
