nicksonnl 0 Posted October 5, 2010 Hi Guys, I received an AVC798 back of one of my customers. I checked all the usual stuff and haven't found a solution yet. In fact I have no idea what to do the error that appears after a while on my screen (about 5 minutes). I've got the following error: sys err 16.000, this can also be found in the log. The error pops up usually after a while walking through the menu, without making any settings to it. Does any of you know what this could indicate? "No HDD, several power supplies, Newest FW on the machine" best regards, Nick
Roula 0 Posted October 6, 2010 flush back to 1021 it will fix the issue i think 1022 is not 100%
nicksonnl 0 Posted October 6, 2010 Dear Roula, Thanks for your reply! It is not the AVC798A, it is the old model. The grey one without support for mouse control and mobile phone viewer. The software version on this model is 0058. I see now that the latest is 0060. But that wouldn't fix the issue. When the model came in, it had an older FW version, I can't remember which anymore. I updated it by that time to version 0058. But that didn't solve the issue. I updated it today to version 60, also that didn't solve the problem. After it reboots, it will show the error in 10-20 seconds.. Best regards, Nick
Roula 0 Posted October 8, 2010 change your Hard drive and the SATA cable
nicksonnl 0 Posted October 11, 2010 Dear Roula, Please refer to my first post. There is no Hard disk in the DVR also no sata cable. In my opinion the dvr should be stable without any hard drive. Best regards, Nick
