cctvron 0 Posted May 25, 2005 I know that Intellex DVR has the ability to accept IP cameras. The question I have is will JVC IP Cameras work with the Intellex DVR?
cctvron 0 Posted June 5, 2005 I just found out they don't. Intellex has a deal worked out with Axis.... That's okay. I will just get the JVC VRN100U. NVR!!! It's much better than anything else on the market anyway.
Thomas 0 Posted June 5, 2005 Yeah, working with multiple types of IP based cameras isn't fun.
qman 0 Posted June 5, 2005 To my opinion, I don't know why there is so much hype around the Intellix DVR. I think that it's a piece of junk. Expecially the software, so plain, and it has no features whatsoever.
cctvron 0 Posted June 11, 2005 The only reason I wanted the JVC IP cameras to work on the Intellex DVR was because of a particular customer. The reason the customer is using Intellex is because it integrates with Softwarehouse Access control system. Go figure it's the same company (Tyco). I wanted to try to sell the customer my cameras at least. They buy 30 DVR's a month. Could you understand now????
