cglaeser 0 Posted October 13, 2010 I purchased exacq mobile for the iphone and it works reasonably well. Much faster and easier to use than trying to use Safari. However, either I don't yet know how to use the Search function, or it's not particularly useful. As best I can tell, if the camera is set to only record during motion, and you try and search a time where no video was recorded, an error message will be generated, rather than skipping to the next sequence that was recorded. Anyone have any success with the Search feature? Best, Christopher
thewireguys 3 Posted October 13, 2010 I have it on my Ipad but I have not played with the search yet only live view.
cglaeser 0 Posted October 13, 2010 I did some more testing, and I think it works as follows. If the camera records continuously, then you can set the search to any time in the past and see 1,2, 5, or 10 minutes of recorded video. However, if the camera only records during motion, then you have to guess when there was recorded video. You can set the search time several minutes before the recorded video, but the duration must straddle the recorded video or it will generate an error message. For example, if video was recorded at 3:15 am for one minute, then you can set the search time to 3:10 am with a duration of 10 minutes, and that replay the video recorded at 3:15. However, if you want replay any recorded motion between 1 am and 5 am, apparently there is no way to do that (short of searching every 10 minute interval for a hit). cglaeser 0 Posted October 13, 2010 Igor Diakov of DComplex, the company that developed exacq mobile, says that he has added a this feature request to the todo list. Best, Christopher
