Can CCTV run in dynamic IP Address using DNS?

I would like to know from this forum if the CCTV can run in Dynamic IP Address using DNS?

 

Any one can give me an ideas?

Yup!

 

I already did registering dyndns. I also already configured my LInkSys WRT54GH router by using port warding 192.168.x.2:80

 

 

Internal

Router IP 192.168.1.1

 

DVR IP 192.168.1.2

Port 80

 

Also when i'm try to update DDNS in my router message DDNS is not running.

 

Also i tried to test in open port tool by dyndns message display is (Timeout).

 

Where i go wrong? something with my IP Provider or the Bandwidth that i got? (512mb, Dynamic).

 

Any one to share his ideas?

many isp block 80. trying using a 4 digit port like 4000, 8080, 8090, etc.
