LC475 0 Posted November 2, 2010 I have Mobotix cameras that I am trying to set up so that I can view the past recordings over the internet. How do I map my NAS to show up as a drive letter so that I can direct MxCC to look at that path for recordings? I can set it up as a web folder using the IP address and port and Windows can see it fine, but MxCC seems to need a path with a drive letter. Thanks.

Soundy 1 Posted November 2, 2010 You can use FTP or windows share. If trying to access it from an internet connection, you'll need to create a VPN connection into your network to map a drive letter to it.
thewireguys 3 Posted November 2, 2010 Is the camera and the NAS on the same network? I set my q24 to record to a QNAP as a FTP and I was able to see the recorded video using the web interface of the camera over the net. I also tested the MxEasy and it works.
