No Audio on playback using Milestone Smart Client

Hi

 

I have a cctv system consisting of 4 Axis Cameras, 1 of which has audio built in, connected into a PC running Milestone Xprotect Essential. the shop has broadband and the images are viewed remotely in an office also with a broadband conenction.

 

WIth live viewing of the images there is audio present, however, when switched to playback tab to view recorded images the sound disappears. However, when you download some recorded video and view it, the sound is present.

 

Anyone seen these symptoms before?

I should add that the images are being viewed using the Milestone Smart Client

Did you select the mic in the audio box and make sure mute is not checked?
