musuhasy 0 Posted November 9, 2010 (edited) How do I connect Broadband Connection with a Mac Laptop? I'm using a Broadband connection with my mac laptop. When I plug the cable in everything is working it just that it brings me to the AT&T help page or something. It has to do was "Password reset" or the modem. I've entered the password and everything, but it still doesn't work. Is it something with the modem? Or does it even work on a mac laptop? I have no router just the cable. _____________________________ external keyword tool Edited November 13, 2010 by Guest
Soundy 1 Posted November 9, 2010 This is probably something you should phone AT&T support about. Many DSL providers require a login and password, others require that your computer's hardware address be registered on their system before they let you access the "outside world". Your best bet would be to check with them that everything is set up and working properly.
SEANHAWG 1 Posted November 9, 2010 Yes, we have AT&T and it does require a Login and a Password for us. Its really a pain in the butt to get AT&T set up with a router and its even more of a pain in the butt to get it set up with email if you use an email client.
