bob the b 0 Posted May 30, 2005 Trying to connect pda with a gv-600.anyone know which port it uses to connect?
Gotta Stop 0 Posted May 31, 2005 The port is set by default to 80 but can be changed during the webcam setup. The frame rate on the Geo pda sucks as compared to other pda programs such as the one that comes with kodacom. I have also had problems with the aspect ratio when enlarging the picture with Geo. bob the b 0 Posted May 31, 2005 (edited) Viewing the pda software with the Kodicom is like looking out of the window! So the setup for the pda in geo is in the webcam server? Or rather it uses the web servers port. Rory , ive never seen Kodicom cards (genuine) on any webpage either! Edited May 31, 2005 by Guest
bob the b 0 Posted May 31, 2005 Put port 80 in the pda and it works great on my lan! When viewing remotely is it best to use port 80 through IE on a client pc without software, or can i use my pda remotely and connect as i think port 80 is always open? Gotta Stop 0 Posted May 31, 2005 Im using a samsung i700 pda phone on the verizon wireless network. With the Kodicom I am getting about 3 or 4 fps full screen while the Geo will get 1 fps on the standard size. On a network the Geo does better but full screen kodacom flips the screen and retail the aspect ratio while the Geo is distorted. I do like the Geo PTZ on the pda. bob the b 0 Posted June 1, 2005 100% agree! Geo poor on the pda , it picks the movement up 5 mins later! Getting about 8fps on the Kodicom
qman 0 Posted June 5, 2005 I get around 5-8fps on the I-VIEW PDA thru My T-mobile Account. If I use wireless lan, it's almost no difference, maybe one frame faster. I think it has to do with the PDA's Slow processors.
