sklaw3 0 Posted November 10, 2010 Hi, I'm facing the "wave" effect problems on all 4 cameras at one of my site. All the cameras are installed in a room next to air conditioning chiller room and there are also high voltage cables passing by on the ceiling of the room where the cameras are installed. May i know what is the best way to solve this problem? I'm using RG59 cable for my cameras. The furthest camera is about 30m from the DVR. Thank you very much for your help. Soundy 1 Posted November 12, 2010 Are the "waves" there all the time, or do they correspond to the A/C or other equipment running? There could be other causes, such as poor grounding. Generally, the best way to solve the problem, if the high-voltage cables ARE the problem, is to move your camera cables away from them, and make sure they don't run parallel to them. Could you export some video showing these waves, and post it to Youtube or a similar service?
