cycattani 0 Posted June 1, 2005 I have a customer who is using " Halide Metal white Light " type of outside parking lot lighting. What effect will this have on camera picture at night ? This is a black and white system with a DVR multiplexer ? I am getting ready to change cameras from Panasonic wvp-134 which is .08 lux to a .0003 lux camera, but am concerned about the Halide Metal lighting.
VST_Man 1 Posted June 1, 2005 i carry a quick setup low light camera with a 7 inch DVD player that i used to check lighting issues like this. i don't think you'll have a problem, in fact, i think that any lighting is a blessing when it comes to installing outdoor camera's. just don't install it in such a manner that causes you a problem and you should be ok.
