66ChevellePost 0 Posted November 18, 2010 Hi, I have had my eye on the CNB BBM-24F. I was looking at different housings and came across the ones with IR led's in them. My question is would this type of housing enhance or hinder the night capabilities of this camera. I live in the country and do have a dusk/dawn motion detecting light in the front of my resident, but when it's off it's only moonlite bright out. Thanks for all replies, Kenny
Soundy 1 Posted November 18, 2010 I believe Rory has some shots in another thread showing a VBM-24VF with the IR from another camera... seems to work pretty well. However, if you already have a motion-activated floodlight, you probably don't need the IR - the camera will already see quite well in low light, and the flood light kicking on could well to enough to switch it back to day mode (depending how bright it is and how it's aimed).
