Toaster 0 Posted November 21, 2010 Not sure why, but I'm getting diagonal rolling line interference on all 4 cameras...? and yeah, the lines are actually at a 90 degree angle..? Any idea's why?
bpzle 0 Posted November 24, 2010 Can you post snapshots from the video?
bpzle 0 Posted November 25, 2010 It could be a lot of things... but the most common is that the video cables were ran parrallel or near high voltage. The next most common problem is the cheap, inferrior, premade cables that those bargain bundle systems come with. Usually thin, alluminum, and not well shielded if at all. A lot of them also run power wires inside the same jacket as video, which can further contribute to a crappy picture. Just one of the countless reasons why we discourage buying those bargain bundles... Even if the DVR is decent, most people end up eventually replacing everything else the system came with... either from complete failure or just horrible performance. While having a crappy CCTV system is certainly better than nothing, its still cheaper in the long run to invest in higher quality products, even if you have to sacrifice the initial quantity. If you start with a decent foundation you can at least continue to build from it, instead of having to start competeley over in 6 months.
