AVTECH KPD674 EMAIL ISSUE HELP PLEASE

Hi

 

im hoping someone can help me we haver the avtech kpd674 dvr all is set up ok but having major issue with email trigger alerts i have set up the settings on the dvr to email on motion triggers to my gmail account however i get an email notifying me of the trigger with an attachment which i cannot view on pc or iphone and in the body of the message

I get the following message

 

Trigger Occur!

 

If you see this then your email client is not mime / MHTML compliant

 

it was my understanding that i should be able to view email on pc and iphone and wonder if i have a setting wrong or something as ive seen posts on this forum where people can have the email function working ok

Can you add a screenshot of the email you have to your message? Is it a link that you receive and you don't know what to do with it?

yeah thats the way of avtech dvr since mp4 tipe.

I also have the same mail problem as you do. I have an email which says "Trigger Occur!" but I can't read it.

Did you find anything out?

 

I have emailed AV-Tech support ('support@avtech.com.tw') as below..

 

Dear Sirs,

I have three questions:

1. Do you have the new firmware file for this DVR – it is currently “firmware 1039-1014-1017-1016”

2. Do you have some information about the email alert function – I receive a file which does not show a picture.

3. Do you have an information help file for making the FTP upload function work – or a testing program.
