VST_Man 1 Posted June 2, 2005 be weary of the slow network connection (10m). i installed one that is slow over the internet, DSL line is good. make sure you geta system that is 100m capable, not 10m. they all say "internet browser capable, BUT, they rarely show the spec on speed. And, everfocus is a Java junkie. when you goto view it from the internet it uses Java and if you don't have it on "that" computer you'll need to install Java before you can view it. and, i had to program the router for the DMZ mode to get it to work right. fan is a bit loud also. had to change it out with a "softer one". otherwise, it's a standalone that works ok but is not the best.
