Hi everybody ,

 

please tell whether AVTECH DR040 can be used for simultaneous recording and playing on tv .

If not please suggest some other model or cost effective solution ( converter etc. )

Are you recording FROM the TV as well???

No , i want to see the video ( recorded through dvr as well as live ) on the tv set .

Is it possible with the dvr or using some additional attachment .

If the DVR has one of these (probably labelled MAIN OUT or something along those lines):

 

You can use one of these:

 

And then use a standard A/V cable:

 

To connect it to an A/V input on your TV

 

(Tip: use the YELLOW wire).
