cds333 0 Posted January 2, 2011 Hey there, I have an issue I hope you all can help with; I am having a problem with blue and randomly colored horizontal lines on some of my feeds. System is an 8 camera NV5000 based with audio ext card, running on windows 7 64... Cameras are a mix of jetview, GE, and videosecu all 12vdc from 2 plugin transformers. Some relevant things are- Lines are random, but I can make them appear 99% of the time by changing some setting in the "camera" or "recording" section of the setup. Most of the time they do not appear until I change a setting. They don't always appear on the same cameras, and some of the cameras they do appear on, worked fine for over a year on an older NV3000 system. Logging out of windows fixes the problem, as does restarting the computer, however restarting dvr.exe does not. Most of the posts I found on here were about interference from and/or with the cameras, but since I can reliably fix the problem by logging out of windows, I don't think this is a hardware issue but a software one. Also I can't tell for sure but the non-blue colored lines look like they are made of from pixels from elsewhere in the feeds, as if single pixel lines had been swapped momentarily... Also the pattern of the lines seems to be repeating, further leading me to think it's not just random RFI interference... If anyone has had similar issues or can explain the difference between the blue/non-blue lines or can suggest anything I can do I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
