Louise 0 Posted January 7, 2011 Hi, I wondered if anyone can help. I have CCTV which I have successfully connected to my laptop and can view it over the internet no problem. I have also tried viewing it remotely from a friends pc and that is no problem. However, when I have tried to view it over my own desk top pc (instead of lap top) it connects but when it then goes to show the cameras - it shows the blue screen (for a split second) as if is then going to show the picture, but then instead of displaying the actual pictures it shows all white. I can go into the menu and select playback and that too shows white screens. I am thinking it must be something to do with that particular pc settings. The laptop and desktop are both on Windows XP - Internet Explorer 8. Any suggestions on how to resolve would be appreciated. Many Thanks.
D.V.S. 0 Posted January 7, 2011 Try disabling your firewall and see it that helps.
Louise 0 Posted January 9, 2011 Hi, Thanks - I have disabled the firewall, but still the same. It does connect - in that it will let me veiw each individul camera in jpeg viewer as individual snapshot pics, but not the full live streaming. Any other suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks. Louise 0 Posted January 11, 2011 Many thanks Niran916 - that was the problem. I've now updated the graphics driver and it all works fine. Thanks again. Louise.
D.V.S. 0 Posted January 11, 2011 Well done Niran916. I remember having being able to log in and had no video. But since this happened on someone else's computer, I didn't want to alter her computer in any way. At least I may now know the problem.
