maledictions 0 Posted January 12, 2011 I would like to start a thread to reverse engineer the firmware of this device As my understanding these machine run an embedded version of Linux (GPL/open source) the maker of the firmware suppose to share the code to the community. Looking at the firmware hexcode reveal several things : 1. looks like busybox is exist in the firmware (www.busybox.net) 2. telnetd is usually turn on (part of busybox) 3. cramfs file system is likely being use to create the firmware. anybody try to port scanning on this device yet ? anybody have a clue what SoC chip is being use for these devices ? can anyone post the picture of their mainboard (both side) PS: I still need to figure out how to use cramfs toolkit and the offset -Maled-
