wolfenstien 0 Posted February 2, 2011 I have an older Netrome DVR unit. It is essentially a PC with a 8 channel card. It is all proprietary. The system died on me, not sure if it was a RAM issue, processor, power supply... what... So I had an extra PC and plucked the card out of its old case and put it into the new PC. I could not get the software I found to work on it, so I moved the Hard drive over and it actually worked, had to re-activate windows, but it worked. Now I am noticing that the software is not longer working the way it is supposed in motion detect mode. It always says several pixels are active and records even when nothing is actually moving. So i tried downloading and installing other software that I have found but nothing detects the Netrome DVR card. I do not want to spend money on any software just to find out that it does not work. Has anyone experience with Netrome cards and other software? Oh, for those that do not know, Netrome went out of business and does not have any updates for this card.
