firmanwiz 0 Posted February 3, 2011 hi buddies, i have a problem with my cctv installation, i used belden rg-58 for the cabling. for 400 metres length it is okay, but when i used 600metre cable, the video data is lost. i have invested so much money for the belden cable.. btw do you all have solution to my problem?? or may be u all can tell me the video amplifier circuit for my problem.. thx before.. sorry my english is bad... Soundy 1 Posted February 3, 2011 For starters, RG58 is the wrong cable for CCTV - RG59 or RG6 is recommended. For 600m though, even that is pushing it - you might need to go to UTP and baluns for that distance. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
