SEANHAWG 1 Posted February 3, 2011 We had a massive snowstorm here in Oklahoma on Tuesday and we are still shut down here on Thursday. I got customers awaiting orders to be shipped out. UPS is not even delivering or making pickups. I used to like the snow but not anymore.

jeromephone 6 Posted February 5, 2011 We were closed Wed here in MI only around 14" one day and it was over. As I have hung around a long time the 1978 and 79 storms were worse more snow and more wind for several days. The first one kind of made my other business go we had a garbage service and were the only ones running for a couple of weeks picked up several hundred customers. The mother of them all here was 1967 storm 34 inches and our little town was cut off for a couple of days.
Soundy 1 Posted February 5, 2011 No snow here in Vancouver, either. Pretty f'n depressing, actually.
SEANHAWG 1 Posted February 5, 2011 We had around 16" here in Oklahoma which is pretty odd for us down here, and then it was followed by single digital and negative degree temps which kept the snow around. We then got another few inches yesterday and we should be getting some more in the next few days. I have been able to get around pretty good except the only place that I seem to ever get stuck is in my driveway. Its times like this I wish I had 4 wheel drive. jeromephone 6 Posted February 6, 2011 As long as I can drive I will have at least one 4wd. We don't need it often but driving on the interstate everyday it gets engaged a lot. I seem to notice the improved stopping distance more than the ability to plow through the snow.
danger_e 0 Posted February 9, 2011 Snowed for about ten minutes yesterday here in eastern Washington. It's cold, but there's no snow on the ground. It reminds me of a couple of years ago, the winter of 07-08 and 08-09 were some of the worst on record around here, I hope you guys make it through the snow out there!
