teksupporter 0 Posted February 8, 2011 We have been trying to get our Dell R710 with dual xeon's to run our Geovision1480a cards. Our current setup is as follows: Dell R710 with Windows 7 64 bit, dual xeon 2.64g, 8gig ram, matrox g200eW video card, with 2 GV-1480a cards. And we have approximately 20 cameras connected between the two cards. The problem that we are having is that the system will crash and reboot approximately 3 times a day, everyday. After getting in touch with Geovision support, they noted that these cards will not work with xeon processors. Now, we have seen others Geovision dvr setups with xeon based motherboards, as well as vendors who sell complete systems with xeons. Do any of you have a similar setup and can offer some insight. Have you had any issues. Are there any particular configurations that I should check or set for this setup. We are about to either get a new pc for the cards or even downgrade to Windows 32bit.
