dahua stand alone dvr weard problem

hi all,

 

i've bought a dahua dvr system 16 chan.

I could always connected to my dvr via IE internaly en remotely.

But now without aney reason i see the login page local and remotely but when i trie to login remotely it gives me the error

"failed to connect the device in main connection"

it works perfect localy though,ip filter is turnd off.

 

What could be my problem?

Did you port forward to the DVR's IP in the router?

Bump! I have exactly the same problem, I have set up the ports to be forwarded to the dvr but the web interface still gives me this error message. If anyone could help with this it would be great.

Your ports are not open. Go to the same network that your DVR is in and go to the website canyouseeme.org and check to see if your ports are open. They are more than likely being blocked.

you have to open two ports http and tcp tcp port 37777 and that will solve your problem greetings from mexico

Try inserting the DVR IP address in the (DMZ) of the router. that will place it outside any protection or firewall the router my have up.

If it works there, the you have a port issue or firewall issue.
