platinum 0 Posted February 21, 2011 I have a CNB HDE2424DV and it works good as a DVR but the remote viewing is pretty limited. Unless I am viewing from the local LAN it is very choppy and lagged. Is there anything I can do to help with this. I have a cable modem which is only 512kb upload. What are the bandwidth requirements for a good stream? Couple other issues; -ports can only be changed in the 8000-12000 range. why the limitation -active x requirement for viewing. is there anyway around this. thanks... vin2install 0 Posted February 23, 2011 512kb is pretty much the minimum to get usable stream over the internet. You gotta pay more to get faster remote streaming. Try to get a service with 2 MB upload than.

rory 0 Posted February 28, 2011 CNB have a great client software (CMS), I would definitely use that over the web browser. http://download.cnbnewsletter.com/support/prdcont_en.php?s_seqx_numb=358&p_move_page=1&p_bord_type=302&p_srch_inpt=&p_srch_type=
