ampleworks 0 Posted February 24, 2011 Let's assume nothing over 500 feet and good quality siamese cable. Would you rather work with RG59 or RG6? Would you switch your opinion if you went from a 8-16 camera job to one that has 128+? Why/why not?
joser559 0 Posted February 28, 2011 RG59 is what you need to use for any camera job that you may have. RG6 is for higher frequency feeds typically for CATV and for satellite. It does not matter if you have a couple of cameras or 128, for any CCTV installation use good quality RG59, and make sure your BNC connections are perfect or else you got problems.
