dvr2011 0 Posted March 6, 2011 Hi I have a AVTECH AVC760 DVR recorder. I connected it to the Internet and via web browser, I can see the the cams fine using Windows Xp. However when I use Windows 7 all I see is a white screen (using Video Server E on same computer cams are fine). I'm sure this is a software related issue but I don't know how to fix it. So I apreciate any help. Many thanks in advance. FC

FC hi clarkep here i dont know if you are using the internet browser internet explorer to view your cameras online but if you are then the reason why your getting a white screen when you try to view the cameras on internet explorer on windows 7 is because you have'nt completed or done the activex setup. let me ask you something does the screen you get when trying to view your cameras on windows 7 look like the one below with the following text which i have circled in red and put at the end of this sentence - to enable control work:tools-> internet:options-> security-> custom level Reset to: Low Or Download . if it does say that somewhere on the screen then then you hav'nt completed or done activex setup but ic you need help just let me know and i will try to help you because i know how to do activex setup. dvr2011 0 Posted March 6, 2011 Hi clarkep Thanks for your reply. Unfortunalty I think it's a different thing from the one you mention on your post. To gave a better idea, here is a pic of what I see under Windows 7. I hope you know how to fix this one too. Regards, FC
clarkep 0 Posted March 7, 2011 hi clarkep here I dont know if you have or not but i have read the manual for your cctv dvr recorder and it says to check the power supply, check the setting of the camera lens, check the monitors video cable connection and check the camera video connection cable and its says you do this if your not getting no live video all before calling the dealer about the problem. dvr2011 0 Posted March 7, 2011 Hi again clarkep Yes, I already read the whole manual and check everything I can remember. However, as I mention on initial post, everything looks ok on on Video Server E. (check the pic). So it must be something related to Windows 7.
