Hard Disk Drive Not Detected

I have purchase H.264 Network DVR with no HDD. I buy 2TB Sata Hard Disk Brand Seagate saparately.

 

When i connect the hard disk to the dvr and switch on the dvr, the message said "Hard Disk Drive Not Detected".

 

Could anyone help me on step by step to do the setup for the hard disk? Because i cant find it inside the DVR Manual.

Try to format the hard disk first in your computer, and upgrade the firmware of your dvr to the latest version.

 

Some kinds of HDD are not compatible with the device (you need to check the manual).
