Hello!

Can anybody help me with the next problem?

We wanted to use IP camera with fullHD resolution and 25/30fps and selected Sanyo4600P. But after installation we noticed, that picture from camera is not perfect - there are little pauses, jumps in live video (as in IE, as in special software). After several month we began to search for another cam and found, that cams from Sony, Arecont Vision, Axix have the same problem. For illustration of problem only http://www.arecontvision.ru/b/video/2805dn.avi. Can anybody advice something to solve this problem (may be examples of soft/hardware)? May be it is impossible to receive "smooth" picture with 1920*1080+30fps with a help of CCTV camera yet?

Thanks in advance!

There are several possibilities, but the most likely are that your computer you're displaying/recording it on is just too slow, or your network is choking (it's a LOT of data).

Thanks for fast reply!

PC is fine - corei7+4GB RAM+good videocard (don't remember). We tried to test different hardware configuration and couldn't find direct correlation between hardware platform and characters of pauses. Network is 1Gbit (stream from camera is ~8Mbps). The same effect as in IE, as in VMS, as in NUUO...

Well I get very smooth picture from GeoVision FullHD cams, but 5.0Mpixel are little jumpy. Its because of hardware in my situation. On better platforms they are rly smooth.

An interest fact: in we catch picture fron cams with a help of free players (VLC, RealPlayer) - the quality of imagine is much better than in a case of using commercial products (NUUO, SeeTec, Sanguard). We think that mistakes are anywhere in decoding process, because drop frame issue happends when I-frame appears: if we increase GOP value less pauses begins to appear.
