sampro 0 Posted March 16, 2011 Hello, my name is Sam and I have some experience in working with CCTV systems. I am not a contractor or install guy but at my last employer I managed a project implementing a CCTV System for our business building which included a PC Based DVR with fifteen cameras. I was point of contact for researchng different systems, negotitations, placement of cameras/DVR, acct setup, data retrievel etc. so it was something I really enjoyed working on the side. Wih that said; I have a business proposal for a local business in my area but I am not a contractor or technicitian therefore not qualified to do the physical install. I have an idea of which equipment I want to go with, how or where to install it but need to hire a contractor to do the physical work. Does this sound doable? Do I need a specific license to manage a project like this or as a contractor/technitian based on my explanation is this something that would interest a professional in your field? I'm very interested in to get in this field so eventually I'd like to drive business to a trusted contractor as awarded projects come in. I hope I'm posting this type of inquiry in the right forum and any feedback is always appreciated. Best regards, Sam
