jonshiel 0 Posted March 16, 2011 Hi Guys, My clients are looking into throttling the amount of bandwidth that the exacqvision service uses. What ports would have to be throttled is it just port 22609? Regards, Jon

jonshiel 0 Posted March 16, 2011 My understanding is they're having problems with various Exacqvision users taking up limited bandwidth for remote sites by constantly viewing. This is users viewing sites over the WAN, not viewers on the LAN. So you're suggesting just lock down whatever profiles the users are using? Do you have to limit the whole client bandwidth or can you do it by user profile? Cheers, Jon
jonshiel 0 Posted March 17, 2011 Apparantly when they used the DVR throttling it not only reduced the bandwidth over the WAN it also slowed the live views locally over the LAN.
