subhan 0 Posted March 22, 2011 We have installed HIKVision 4 channel DVR to the client and it was working well, today the client resisted a complaint that DVR can't Play back . When we went and checked the DVR the status was recording but the HDD Status was in error . so we restarted the DVR . when the DVR booted it was started asking for format . I have tried restarting may times , its the same...How can i Solve this issue? Any software for recovering the DATA?? Please Help Me Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Vavo 0 Posted October 4, 2011 Well you need to format the HDD once when you install the DVR at client site and associate the cameras to the HDD (there are advanced configurations possible with HIK VIsion). After that it should work fine. Might be HDD failure here. Put the HDD in PC and with the player (download it from their site) might be able to play the files.
