A little background to my problem, my company has been working with super circuits trying to come up with a system to use for a clients focus group rooms. What we currently have is a Digiop DVR with 7 analog cameras coming in. We also have lourue mic kits in each of the three rooms. This system while great for security does not give us the quality we are looking for on our recordings and doesnt give us an open format to work with. What we really need is a new DVR that will work with our 4 PTZ and 3 stationary cameras and be able to record in d1 (720x480) at a full 30 fps with audio in an open format. Is what I am asking even possible? I have called both geovision and avermedia, but both record in proprietary formats.
