from_jenn2yu 0 Posted March 23, 2011 Does anyone know why DVR when set on motion detection works fine during the day and complies with the motion detection setting but as soon as it goes dark and the IR's kick on for the cameras the DVR contnuously records. As soon as it's day time again the DVR Motion Detection function works properly. Sensitivity level has been adjusted, settings for motion detection are for 24hrs all cameras set to motion. Soundy 1 Posted March 24, 2011 Most likely reasons are video noise from the low-light image being boosted too much, or flying bugs being attracted to the IR. Too much dust in the air could do it too, as dust tends to be very reflective to IR. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
