andy74 0 Posted March 30, 2011 How important is monitor quality for NVR systems? I know that with analog systems monitor quality is very important, but is it same with ip systems? Any kind of full hd is good enought, or do you get better video / pictures with more expencive and better quality monitor? Thx for comments
Soundy 1 Posted March 31, 2011 The bulk of MP cameras are far higher resolution than "True HD", so unless you're spending stupid money for an ultra-high-resolution LCD, your cameras are being scaled down for display anyway. The monitor has NO bearing at all on the recording quality and in general as long as you have a "decent" model, is of fairly low consequence.

Sawbones 0 Posted March 31, 2011 I just use standard LCD computer monitors (of whatever size), and pair them with the appropriate VESA mount. You don't have to spend big bucks.
