catmanakis 0 Posted November 7, 2013 Hi to all!! I just found the site about Avermedia and Win7 problems. My question is: I have win7 in one pc and winxp in another one, i have downloaded the software (remote console) as you already written above and when i am trying to connect i get the message: connection failed. I have put the port 5550 and from local (direct connection between the recorder and laptop) seems that it works. Any clue why it does not work? thx to all!!! MaxIcon 0 Posted November 7, 2013 If you go to the iTunes store and search for Aver, you'll see the apps. There are 2 of them, and I forget which one is older vs newer. Both are a bit unstable on my iPhone, though the newer one is better, but I haven't used them much for a while. I use IP Cam Viewer Pro, which is only $4 and works great.
