IP Cam connections via coaxial antenna cable

Hi there - I own an home in Ibiza / Spain and I'm planning to equip the plot with IP cams by Mobotix. The problem is the cabling since I had old analogue cams before. Don't want to install new cables all over the plot. There's a local Mobotix agent here who says there's no need to replace the cabling. They cound use the old coax cables with the new IP cams. I can't believe that and wanted to ask whether anybody has ever heard about that? Is that possible? The local company can be found here: http://english.cctv-video-ibiza.com

non powered BALUN devices will operate up to 900' at 10MB only. Powered devices can reach distances of 3000' and up to 80mbs of speed. The unpowered devices cost about $20.00, while the powered devices are more....

Yeah, those cheap unpowered ones there will only do 10Mbit... borderline for megapixel cameras. I wouldn't trust them to support full-duplex operation, either.
