dave c 0 Posted April 4, 2011 I'm seeing some offers on various websites about Geovision offering their software (32 channel) for free if you purchase a GeoVision camera. It is hard to decipher things on the Geo website info but I get the impression that there are 2 versions of their software - one that works only with their cameras, and one that is "unlocked" to work with a variety of other manufacturers cameras. jeromephone 6 Posted April 8, 2011 I have just purchased some geo cameras and you do get the 8.4 software for free. It appears to be the same as if you purchased a card. You can run other mfgs cameras but you have to pay a license fee if you use other than Geo cameras. You would have to purchase a card if you are using analog.
