Power supply for Monacor 190 COL

Recommended Posts

I found a broken camera in a garbage bin but at a closer look it seems that only the front glass was broken and everything inside is fine.

It is a Monacor 190 COL: http://www.monacor.de/en/product-detail-page/?artikelid=6997

This camera has one single cable for both power and video. I'm looking for a power supply for this camera, or if it's possible to build it myself? It can't be that complicated or what do you think?

camera from a garbage bin. no power supply. for the money time and effort only to find out why the camera was in the garbage. it has a coaxual power box not a good thing to try and make. (you could buy a new camera for the costs you are going to have)

That camera costs $300. I have friends with good electronical skills. With some basic knowledge of what voltage the camera runs on it should not be impossible to fetch the video signal. I will not buy a new camera, i don't even need it, it's just fun to see what I can do with it.

your right the camera cost $300 and a 50in TV cost $1000. but none of that means anything if you find either in a Bin.

I am 99% sure that this camera was trashed because of a broken front glass which means that it's not waterproof any more. But the construction is very robust and no water damage what I can tell. I don't scrap a car because of a broken window?
