Snail 0 Posted April 15, 2011 I Followed the DS2 HD replacement instructions found on this great forum and installed the Western Digital 320gb (all I could find). The DVTR seemed to work properly and was recording and replaying images for the first day. Came back on Monday and had the 6019 error message. I've reformatted with the fat32formatter and reinstalled software with the same result. The original hard drive was lost after a power outage, no help from the battery back up/ surge protector. I'm not sure if it is a hard drive miss match, toasted board, or toasted cable. The hard drive shows no problems when it is mounted in a PC. Thanks
grrr009 0 Posted September 8, 2011 This error means a video index error as the HDD has problems recording the video. Suggest try new external PSU as this might not be right after the power outage.
Snail 0 Posted September 9, 2011 Thanks for the reply, what do you mean by PSU? I gave up on the DS2 and bought a new DVR.
