bpzle 0 Posted April 16, 2011 Is there a standard that I'm not aware of for remotely punching in "enter" on fixed cameras with RS485 connections? I like access to the OSD via the DVR sometimes and I always have a hard time figuring out what's "enter". I've ran into this with numerous brands... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SEANHAWG 1 Posted April 16, 2011 I know what you mean, I was just thinking that today getting frustrated with a camera I was toying with via RS-485 Of the couple handful of cameras I have tested that have OSD via RS-485, here is what I have noticed for the menu functions on most of them. But this not true with all of course so I dont think there is a standard unfortunately. The Iris Function opens up the menu The zoom function moves up and down between selections The Focus function selects and enters "sub menu's" or in essence is "enter" Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
