I have bought a pelco DD5ac-x, can these be fitted externally with a housing, or are they specifically for indoor use?

Seems that it neds a pelco external housing tc, $$$$$$

 

Next plan of attack is to try and mount it in an external ip 66 rated light fitting.

Anyone tried this with success (or not)

hi

i have a ntsc pelco 2 and it will work in model 3 dome so you can get 2 or 3 pelco dome ~$300 on ebay

i had a quick look but seemed to be nothing available at present.

Bought an external dome off ebay (minus the camera) for £55,had to do a little modding but the pelco fits in great.

 

The pq is amazing on this camera,it shows the rest up.
