fragmental 0 Posted April 27, 2011 Hi Guys , I`m trying to figure out what equipment I would need to transmit two analog cams about 1200'. From what I've read so far a system like this would work. 1, 4 channel Video encoder, ex. ACD-2200 2, Ubiquiti Bullet m wireless devices 2, directional antennas for above units 2, Decoders(unless there are duals or quads available) 1, month of reading to make the above items work together Could I use IP cams and drop the encoder. Yes, it's called a network switch Instead of a decoder at the other end, how about an NVR, and record the IP cams (or encoder) directly? Or if you have analog cams as well, a hybrid DVR?
