filbaker 0 Posted May 6, 2011 Hi all! Replaying under SuperDVR is no problem, but... I have copied a clip (in .avi format) to a flash-drive to replay on another PC, using MS MediaPlayer. The result is some footage which plays really fast, like Keystone Kops, almost! Can anyone suggest how to slow it down? I'd like to put this particular clip online as it's kind of amusing, but I want it to run at normal speed. Thanks in advance...
SEANHAWG 1 Posted May 6, 2011 Sometimes that happens when the video gets converted over and the media players automatically speeds up the video for some reason. If you have microsoft movie maker, you can slow down the video to make it normal looking and then upload it.
Soundy 1 Posted May 6, 2011 Yeah, I think the problem is, with some file formats (keeping in mind that "AVI" is just a wrapper and not a single written-in-stone file format), WMP has no way of knowing that the video is NOT recorded at 30FPS, so it just plays it at 30FPS by default.
