low framerate/monitoring

Hi,

 

I want to set up a camera to monitor a gate. It is not for security purposes, but usage monitoring, so I don't need high quality in the sense of framerates and/or resolution. I'd like a camera/system that could run and record (to HD/flash) continously for a week or so at a time, a pic/sec or less would do, and would keep the size down for such a long recording period, I hope.

 

Are there any small integrated systems that can do this. Perhaps a simple webcam solution could do?

I don't know if webcam can do this or not, mostly can't.

the suggestiong are follows:

1 camera + 1 dvr with 200-500GB HD

that will all enough for you.

I think the cost is quite low for to setup this if you do DIY

let's say within 300$

 

Hi, thanks a lot for your help! Can you suggest any cam+dvr combo in that price range? Something simple where the framerate could be set way down.
