safeguardcctv 0 Posted May 29, 2011 Hello everyone, I have come across an official document for the EU stating that certain CCTV products (DVRs, Cameras, etc) are legible for import tax exclusion. In Spain, the tax for these specific cameras is 4.9%, 13.9% for the DVRs plus 18% VAT. If approved, anyone importing these products will pay 0% import tax on these products, does anyone know anything about this? Any information would be much apreciated. rory 0 Posted June 21, 2011 Our government FINALLY dropped the customs duty on CCTV equipment, they say it is now duty free, though I am a little skeptical since the customs dept here seem to make up their own duties half the time.
