Using 9 channel screen division setting with 8 channels

Good evening all. I have a GV-650-8 system running V8.3.2. I have all 8 camera being used with full screen on motion detect enabled. I would like to use the 9 camera screen division setting for viewing all 8 cameras the same size with the 9th camera being the geovision logo. I can select the 9 camera view but as soon as a camera pops up full screen with motion detect, it defaults back to the 8 camera display with one of the cameras taking up most of the display and the other 8 much small. Is there a way I can make the 9 camera screen default with motion detect. Thanks for the help.

Stop all recording. Go to Configure > General Settings > Camera/Audio Install > Camera Audio Install. Under the Startup section, check Default Screen Division. Click the Green arrow and select 9 Channel then close. On the main screen, select the far left icon (exit, minimize, etc) and select Restart using Last Settings. 9 channel should now be your default startup screen.
