Quant 0 Posted June 8, 2011 A question regarding the Geovision System software. I completely reinstalled the operating system of a PC. Then I installed the Geovision software from scratch. The harddisks that contain the previous recordings are untouched, so the old recordings are still available. Is it possible to import them to the freslhy installed Geovision software? And how? Soundy 1 Posted June 8, 2011 I don't have a GV box in front of me to confirm, and I'm not familiar enough with them to walk you through it from memory, but yes, it can be done - there should be a database utility (or something of the sort) in the GV folder on the Start Menu - you can use that to rebuild the search database with the existing video files.
